Using the Screen Designer for Digital Work screen in base EAM, the user can set default values for fields across digital work.
If the field allows for default values being set, when the user right clicks, three new options have been added:

Set Default Value: After setting a default value using the ‘Set Default Value pop-up’ that value will be displayed next to the field (example above). If Null value is selected, then NULL will be displayed next to the field. For check boxes Selected/Not Selected will display.

Clear Default Value: The default value for the selected field will be cleared.

Clear Default Value for All Fields: This will clear ALL the default values for the selected screen/tab.
When setting default value for fields which have an associated key field – like Equipment having the Equipment Org., on the work order screen, the user must set a default value for the Equipment Org. field as well, for the record to be saved. This is applicable only to fields which are either Required/Optional and have an associated protected key org field. This is because the default values load in insert/edit mode but are only validated when the record is saved.
