On the Linear Reference Classes tab of the Classes screen, you can define the typical linear reference classes for any of the equipment classes (entity OBJ). This tab is protected and cannot be used for the classes of any other entity.

Class - Select the linear reference class you want to associate to the equipment class. The classes that you add here will be clearly identified by selecting the Attached to Equipment Class check box on the Class lookup on the Linear References tab of the Class and the equipment screens. Please note that this relationship is not enforced, therefore you can select other linear reference classes for any record on these tabs as well. This relationship is only an aid for data entry.
Deleting a record here has no impact on existing data.
