A crew or employee is called Agent in Constraint Optimizer. The Agent will have agent name, organization, related shift, qualifications, and GPS location (Starting X Coordinate and Starting Y Coordinate).

Qualifications of a crew will be a summation of the qualifications of employees in the crew plus the qualifications of crew vehicles.

GPS location will be required. The record will be excluded if crew/employee does not have the information defined.

If there are no valid crews or individual employees selected, the request will not be processed. Instead, this error message will be logged into the optimized scheduler setup record and the schedule will be marked as complete: "There are no crews or individual employees, with locations, to be sent to the Constraint Optimizer."
