If the equipment configuration status is not Unfinished, you cannot add calendar-based warranty coverage.
To manage warranties from the perspective of the warranty record, select Equipment > Warranty > Warranties.
To add calendar-based warranty coverage to equipment configurations:

Select Equipment > Equipment Configuration > Equipment Configurations.

Select the equipment configuration for which to add a warranty, and then click the Warranties tab. The system automatically populates Date Entered and Entered By.

Click Add Warranty Coverage.

Specify this information:
Warranty - Specify the warranty document to associate with the equipment configuration. The system automatically populates the warranty description, Duration UOM, Threshold UOM, Manufacturer, and Supplier.
Coverage Type - Select Calendar to indicate that the warranty is based on number of days used.
Duration - Specify the length of the warranty in days.
Threshold - Specify the number of days prior to expiration at which the system should notify you that the warranty is about to expire.
Active - Select to indicate that the warranty is currently active.

Click Submit.
