The Cost Analysis tab is an editable grid view of Cost Analysis records that present a side-by-side comparison of existing equipment with potential, new equipment as identified in the Equipment Evaluations screen.
To be included in this comparison or analysis, the existing equipment must have been selected by the system using the selection criteria specified in the Equipment Evaluations screen or specifically added in the Equipment Equivalency tab. In addition, the equipment must have been selected for comparison in the Equipment Equivalency tab.
Cost analysis is performed for each of the following areas:

PM Work Order costs (greater of [annual average or previous 365 days])

Non-PM Work Order costs (greater of [annual average or previous 365 days])

Energy cost (if existing equipment is GAS Tracked)

CO2e cost (if existing equipment is GAS Tracked)
Potential Annual Cost Savings and Return on Investment are calculated. The user may select Cost Analysis records from which Capital Planning Requests will be created
