To calculate the Energy Star Rating for a property, Portfolio Manager must have sufficient energy consumption data. Usually this is a year.
In HxGN EAM, the Energy Star Ratings tab of the equipment screens will contain the Energy Star Ratings and related information for all months.
Energy Star Ratings can be requested using the Get Energy Star Ratings button on this tab. After entering the date range in a popup and clicking Submit, an asynchronous Ratings Exchange Service web service message is sent to Portfolio Manager. The response from Portfolio Manager is not real-time. In fact, the response may take up to 24 hours, depending on activity at the Energy Star Portfolio Manager website.
On the equipment screens in HxGN EAM a checkbox called Eligible for Energy Star Label may be selected as well if the Portfolio Manager response indicates that this property is eligible for an Energy Star label.
