The Costs tab of the CU Estimates screen provides the ability for a user to view calculated cost details associated with a CU estimate. This tab shows a view-only list of all compatible units library records that are associated to the header CU Estimate record; and the costs attributable to labor, parts, tools and services categories for each work point-compatible units library record. In addition, summary totals for these categories as well as the Total CU Estimate Cost overall are displayed. A summary field is also included on the Costs tab to indicate a value for Total Overhead Costs, which may optionally be calculated depending on the setting of the CUESOHVD organization option.
All summary total fields shown on this tab are not sensitive to any applied dataspy
or filter. For example, if a user filters records shown in the list show only compatible
units associated to a single work point, and multiple work point/compatible units
combinations exist; the totals shown in the Summary section will not be updated.

It is also useful to note that the Additional Costs field (and corresponding summary field, Total Additional Costs) is also calculated and displayed on the Costs tab. However, the additional cost calculations are performed in support of for the FERC unit estimate; and only for compatible units library records which are associated to the same Accounting code (but for which the Fixed Asset Code is not specified).
