The CU Design Project Details section on the Record View tab of the Projects screen supports compatible units features. Within this section, an optional checkbox, CU Design Project, allows the user to indicate a project record to be used with compatible units features. When this checkbox is selected, the other fields in the CU Design Project Details section will become available and the available Status dropdown options will change to reflect only CU-specific statuses.
For projects designated as a CU Design Project; the CU Design Type must also be specified. The user may choose from one of two CU Design types, each with an intended purpose:

Non-WO Associated - this CU design type is intended to be used for performing cost estimation only. Work order activities may not be generated for a CU estimate that has been associated to a non-WO associated CU Design project.

WO Associated - this CU design type is intended to be used for performing cost estimation and also supports for the generation of work order activities from a CU estimate.
Finally, the user may also designate a Department to which the CU Design project is associated.
