Printing barcode labels in HxGN EAM and HxGN EAM Mobile - HxGN EAM - Version 12.0 - Help

Printing barcode labels in HxGN EAM and HxGN EAM Mobile requires setup in HxGN EAM Barcoding and HxGN EAM.

1. Set up the barcode label templates and server settings in HxGN EAM Barcoding.

   When creating templates, you can only create templates for a Data Source of either Part for Issue/Return, Part for Store-to-Store Receipt, Part for Held Items Transfer, Part for Held Items to Stock Transfer, and Part for Stock to Held Items Transfer as defined on the Templates page of the Templates form.

2. Enter the barcode-related fields in HxGN EAM. These fields appear on the Record View page of the Stores form and the Stores page of the Parts form.

   These label templates are available on the Stores screen and the Stores tab for the Parts screen.

   • Label Template (Receipt)

   • Label Template (Non-PO Receipt)

   • Label Template (Issue)

   • Label Template (Store-to-Store Receipt)

   • Label Template (Held Items Receipt)

   • Label Template (Held Items on PO Receipt)

   • Label Template (Held Items on Non-PO Receipt)

   • Label Template (Held Items Transfer)

   • Label Template (Held Items to Stock Transfer)

   • Label Template (Stock to Held Items Transfer)

   • Label Template (Core Return)

     The Core Return label template field is available on the Stores tab for the Parts screen only.

     When entering the Label Server on the Record View page of the Stores form, you must use the following format: http://[servername]:[port]/PRINTJOBRECEIVER/RECEIVER.ASPX

     Servername is where the printer server is installed. The default port is 80 but can be changed in IIS. PRINTJOBRECEIVER/RECEIVER.ASPX must be in uppercase.

3. Choose one of these options:
