The FTR filter type property on the File Type class definition is linked to the FTR processing and has an enumeration associated with it. The values supported by the FTR engine are:

ftmf (filter for Microsoft and AutoCAD file formats)

ingr_ss (SmartSketch)

igds (filter for MicroStation file formats)
The FTR filter is set on the New/Update File Type form. For other languages, such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, the corresponding
ftmf filter (ftmf Chinese, ftmf Japanese, and ftmf Korean) needs to be selected.
