This procedure allows you to manually add line items to the TAR Template structure. Under the parent path ID, you can create child items in two levels: unit level and equipment level.

  1. Go to TAR > TAR Admin > TAR Templates.

  2. Select the Structure tab.

  3. Select the Template ellipsis and choose the required template from the list which you have created in TAR Setup.

  4. Select the TAR Template Structure tab.

  5. Select the Insert Row icon to add a new TAR Template line item or Right-select the rows list and choose Insert Under. This creates a new row under the selected line item.

Do not choose Insert or Insert Multiple options. If these options are used, the template structure will not be added as a part of the project unless the parent path ID is also specified.

    • The Insert Under option places the template structure below the selected line item.

    • If the Insert Row option is used, the template structure is placed at the same hierarchy as the selected line item.

  6. Enter the Unit/Equipment Type ID.

The ID should be unique to avoid any duplication.

  7. Enter the Unit/Equipment Type Name.

    1. A standard template named PROJECT WORK has been created. To link your template to the project budget, enter the equipment name in the Equipment Type Name field using the same format, 'PROJECT WORK'. However, users should not enter any values in the line items, as the cost objects for PROJECT WORK are derived from the project budget.

    2. A standard template called EXCHANGERS has been created. If you use 'EXCHANGERS' as an equipment type following the same naming format, it will be used in BPAD Support in TAR Event Setup.

  8. Select the Parent Path ID ellipsis and choose the parent ID.

For the first level, i.e., Unit type, select the parent level ID. For the second level, i.e., Equipment type, choose the first level ID by expanding the parent ID.

  9. Select the TAR Object Type ellipsis and choose whether unit or equipment.

  10. Enter the following values:

    • Unit Number

    • Equipment Code

    • TAR Misc Mat

    • TAR Rental Equipment

    • TAR Pre-Turnaround

    • TAR Post-Turnaround

    • TAR Operations Factor

    • TAR Inflation

    • TAR Contingency

    • TAR I/D Ratio

    • TAR Operations Factor

    • TAR Elect Support Hours Per Day

    • TAR Commissioning Days

    • TAR Direct Rates

    • TAR Indirect Rates

    • TAR Productivity Factor

    • TAR Repair Allowance

    • TAR Planning Man Hours

  11. Select the Shut Down/Start Up ellipsis and choose SU/SD or No.

  12. Select SAVE. After saving Parent Path ID auto-populates.

  13. Select the Delete Row icon if you want to delete any selected row.
