Import Budget Detail Line Items - EcoSys - 4.03 - Help - Hexagon

This procedure allows you to establish the budget dates and curves. Also, you can import the budget details from the Import Line Items panel.

Line items should never be imported after a budget has been time-phased.

Budget line items should be imported only for objects whose Cost Control Level is set to Yes.

1. Click the Import tab.

2. In the Import Time-Phase Settings panel, update the following:

   1. Select the Start Date.

   2. Select the End Date.

   3. Click the Time-Phasing Method ID ellipsis and select the required time-phasing curve.

   4. Click SAVE.

3. Navigate to Sheet icon > Import.

4. Click Choose File and select the required file.

5. Select the required Format as per the selected file. The available values are listed below:

   • Excel

   • Tab-delimited

6. From Import Rule for Incoming Records, select the Create New / Update Existing option.

7. Select Preview data before saving to validate the data before importing.

8. Click OK to import the file and then click SAVE.

   

   • Verify the data on the screen, if there are any missing or blank fields, click the Refresh icon to discard the data and repeat the above procedure to import the file again.

   • Only the data from the first tab of the MS Excel spreadsheet is imported into the import spreadsheet.
