Follow the procedure below to update Opportunity general attributes.

  1. In the Opportunity Details panel, click the General tab.

    By default, the last selected opportunity appears in the Opportunity ellipsis. To change the default opportunity, click the Opportunity ellipsis in the tool bar and select the required opportunity.

  2. Edit the opportunity Name.

    By default, the opportunity name entered during the opportunity creation appears.

  3. Click the ellipsis for each of the below fields and select the required values.

    1. Start Date and End Date - Select the start and end date of the opportunity.

    2. (Optional) Responsible Org - Select the responsible organization.

    3. (Optional) Project Calendar - Select the required project calendar.

    4. Stage Gate Process - Select the required stage gate process.

    5. (Optional) Project Manager - Select the manager for the opportunity.

    6. (Optional) Portfolio - Select the portfolio.

    7. (Optional) Project Type - Select the project type.

    8. (Optional) Client - Select the required client for the opportunity.

    9. (Optional) Location - Select the required location.

    10. (Optional) Security Org - Select the required security organization.

    11. (Optional) Exchange Rate Table - select the required exchange rate table.

    12. Currency - Select the required currency.

  4. (Optional) Attach the enterprise logo.

    1. Click the Project Logo icon.

    2. Click UPLOAD and then click Choose File to select a file to upload.

    3. Type the description of the document in the Document Description.

    4. To view or save the attachment, click the attachment hyperlink.

      The saved project logo must be stored in the server, see Server Settings to Store Logo.

  5. Type in the required Business Justification / Objective.

  6. Click SAVE.

    • When the Start Date and End Date are updated, the Check: Start Date validation check is completed.

    • When the Stage Gate Process is updated, the Check: Stage Gate Process validation check is completed.

    • When the Objective is updated, the Check: Objective validation check is completed.

    • To view the updated Validation Count, click the Refresh icon. Once the Validation Count becomes zero the opportunity can be submitted for review.

Server Settings to Store Image

To store the saved project logo in the server, follow the steps below:

  1. Create a folder with the name Reportimages in C:Ecosys/Esfm_Home on each application server within the clustered environment.

  2. Navigate to Admin > System Utilities.

  3. Click the EDIT SERVER SETTINGS tab.

  4. Update your server details in the highlighted URL below.

  5. Delete # in the URL to enable the server.

  6. Click the Save hyperlink.
