Once all the validation checks are completed, the Validation Count becomes zero and a Submit hyperlink appears in the Opportunity Register panel. Only opportunities with an Initiated or Rework status may be submitted. When the opportunity is submitted a View hyperlink appears in the Opportunity Register panel after a screen refresh and the status of the opportunity changes to Submitted. Also, a log entry appears in the Opportunities Log panel and an email is sent to all users defined in the Workflow Admin tab as well as the creator of the opportunity.

To view update validation checks and to see the Submit hyperlink after all validations checks have passed, click the Refresh button.

Once the opportunity is submitted, its details cannot be updated.

When an opportunity is submitted a notification appears on the Visual Workflow Notifications icon.
Follow the procedure below to submit the opportunity:

Navigate to Portfolios > Opportunities.

Click the Opportunities tab. The Opportunity Register panel appears.

In the Opportunity Register, click the Submit hyperlink corresponding to the opportunity that is to be submitted. A confirmation dialog box appears.

Click the OK button. A system message appears and a notification appears on the Visual Workflow Notifications icon.

Click the Refresh button. A View hyperlink appears in the Submit column.

To view the log entry, click the Log tab.

To view the status log of the opportunity, click the Status hyperlink in the Opportunity Register panel.
