This procedure allows you to manually add, modify and delete schedule details associated with project objects.

Scheduling details are independent of project budget details and do not affect the budget and forecast.

  1. Navigate to Projects > Project Schedule.

  2. At the top of the screen, in the green parameter bar, click the Project and Calendar ellipsis to select the required project and calendar.

    The administrator defines calendars which include the time-zone, start time, duration, working days, and non-working days.

  3. Click Refresh for screen update. In the Project Scheduler panel, the project structure appears and the tasks along with their dependencies appear on the gantt chart.

  4. In the Project Scheduler panel, click the object. The Schedule Details panel appears.

  5. In the Schedule Details panel, click the Assignments tab. The schedule activities appear.

    You can customize the view of the schedule line items from the View Settings.

  6. Click the Insert Row icon to add a new cost.

  7. Click the ellipsis to select the required values in the below fields:

    • Object Path ID - Select the required object.

    • (Optional) Cost Account ID - Select the required cost account.

    • (Optional) Resource ID - Select the required resource ID.

    • (Optional) UOM - Select the required units of measurement.

    • (Optional) Currency - Select the required currency.

  8. Type the required details of the resources:

    • (Optional) Quantity - Type the quantity of resources.

    • (Optional) Hours - Type the estimated number of hours to be spent on the project.

    • (Optional) Cost - Type the cost to be spent on the resources.

  9. Click SAVE.

    Click the Delete Row(s) icon to delete the schedule activity.
