EcoSys consists of a 3-tier application architecture. The front end or Internet browser (HTML only, no plugins or applets required), a middle tier Java application server and the back end relational database (Oracle or SQL Server). EcoSys end users access the system (MS Windows 7 OS & EcoSys version 7.2 and higher) via the Internet Explorer 10 & 11 (JavaScript enabled) browser or Google Chrome.
