The EcoSys administrator can update the format of the project IDs generated by the system. This ID format is typically assigned when EcoSys is installed but can be changed as needed. They can also update the EcoSys URL that appears in emails and, enterprise logos that appears on the left side in the reports.

Before changing a project ID format, ensure that the new format will not cause an existing Project ID to be duplicated. Use the Project Register panel in the project setup screen (Projects > Project Setup - Projects) tab to validate.

  1. Navigate to Admin > Core Admin > Enterprise Defaults.

  2. Type the updates in the Consultant Updates.

  3. (Optional) Type a required Prefix. The prefix is added to the beginning of the project ID.

  4. (Optional) Type a digit in Next ID Base. By default, this value is set to zero. The numbering of the project ID starts from this digit.

  5. Type a digit in Digits (Max 20). By default, this value is set to zero. This is the length of the project ID.

  6. (Optional) Type a required Suffix. The project ID ends with the suffix entered.

  7. Type a digit in Increment. By default, this value is set to zero. The project ID increments by this digit.

  8. Type in the EcoSys URL.

  9. Type the admin email address in Email From Address.

  10. (Optional) Attach the enterprise logo.

    1. Click the Enterprise Logo icon.

    2. Click UPLOAD and then click Choose File to select a file to upload.

      The Document Title auto-populates with the name of the uploaded file.

    3. (Optional) Type the description of the document in the Document Description.

    4. To view or save the attachment, click the attachment hyperlink.

  11. Click SAVE, the project ID appears in Project ID Example (Max 40).

Server Settings to Store Image

To store the saved project logo in the server, follow the steps below:

  1. Create a folder with the name Reportimages in C:Ecosys/Esfm_Home on each application server within the clustered environment.

  2. Navigate to Admin > System Utilities.

  3. Click the EDIT SERVER SETTINGS tab.

  4. Update your server details in the highlighted URL below.

  5. Delete # in the URL to enable the server.

  6. Click the Save hyperlink.
