Start Server Manager on the application server.

Expand the node for the primary site to which your license server needs to connect.

Display the properties for the Settings node for the site.

In the LicenseServerURL property, enter the URL for the remote license server.
If you set up your license server before you create the site on the application server,
this property is defined automatically.
