-
If necessary, you can also hide a select entry from users. For more information, see Hide a Select List Entry.

Click Save .
-
Be careful when modifying delivered select set lists because some, like Option Code, System I/O Type, Rated Voltage, and Segregation Level, contain short values that correspond to indices in other products and are necessary for special functions.
-
Care should be taken not to produce a duplicate entry when modifying values in a select list. For example, in the Nominal Diameter select list, changing the units of measure for a value from imperial to metric and then back to imperial results in a duplicate entry.
-
You can only modify an imperial value from a fraction to a decimal value when the decimal value is the equivalent value to that of the fractional value. For example, 1-1/4" can be changed to 1.25" but not to 1.33" or 1.5".
-
You cannot directly add a value in the Nominal Diameter select list that includes the "/" symbol, for example 9/16". To include such a value, you must first type the decimal equivalent (in this example, the value you enter is 0.5625"), then using your database tools, you must go to the Code List table in the database and change the contents of the Value field to 9/16".
