In Cyclone, a point cloud resides in a ModelSpace, which in turn, resides in a database. A ModelSpace View is a set of viewing parameters for a ModelSpace. Many ModelSpace Views can be defined for an individual ModelSpace to provide control over aspects of the ModelSpace.
You can use the CloudWorx features using CloudWorx menu in Smart 3D. Most CloudWorx commands require that a CloudWorx project be open. Otherwise, you should:

Add and Configure the Databases. For more information on how to configure the databases, refer the Configure Databases section in Project Management help.

You must also Reference a Point Cloud, Load a Point Cloud and Reference Multiple ModelSpace Views. For more information, refer the Reference a Point Cloud, Loading a Point Cloud and Reference Multiple ModelSpace Views sections.

Add a filter using Define Workspace.... The filter should have Point Cloud Graphics and PointCloud - Leica Geosystems Inc. selected. Save changes to session file.

When you open a session file that has the defined filter, it automatically launches Import Point Cloud Data dialog. Select the ModelSpace View or JetStream project to open. The software loads point clouds into Smart 3D.

You can also use Open Project to open a saved CloudWorx project.
