Main window ribbon: Utilities > Tools > Materials > Edit a Material
Allows you to select an existing material in the database for viewing or editing. Materials Name, Number, and Piping Code display for each material.
You can type all or part of a material name or number and click Search, and the software searches the database and displays all applicable materials.
After selecting a material, the software returns you to the Material Database Editor and populates the fields with the selected material values.

The software supports multiple editions of piping codes. If the material properties of an edition and later editions are identical, only the oldest edition displays in the Material Selection Dialog.

Number corresponds to the Material ID on the Classic Piping Input Dialog.

Scroll through the material list by using the á and â arrow keys or the PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN keys.

Press HOME or END to go to the beginning or end of the material list.

To select a material and close the dialog, you can double-click the material or select the material and click OK.

To exit the dialog without selecting a material, press Esc or click Cancel.
