CAESAR II Version

Performs nozzle flexibility calculations according to WRC 297.

Current nozzle flexibility calculations are in accordance with the Welding Research Council Bulletin No. 297, issued August 1984 for cylinder-to-cylinder intersections.

After error checking, CAESAR II displays all useful WRC curve data on the Errors and Warnings dialog. You can use these values to define the illustrated nozzles in the WRC 297 bulletin. It is sometimes helpful to know just how close a nozzle is to one of the several asymptotic limits or to a curve boundary.

You can see the WRC 297 computed data only during the error checking process.
