Asset ID

A unique identifier for the asset. It is used when identifying the asset on which a document is being performed.

Description

Describes the asset.

Serial number

Identifies the serial number for the asset.

Asset type

Identifies the type of asset.

Properties

If there are properties included in the selected Asset type, they appear, and the values can be set. You can also add properties directly to the individual asset.

 If you attempt to delete property values that are currently in use, you receive a warning, and the deletion is prevented.

Attributes

If there are attributes included in the selected Asset type, they appear, and the values can be set.

Variables

If variables are included, they appear, and the values can be set.

Content

Three columns display if there is content listed for this asset:

• Title -- Click the link(s) to open the content associated with this asset.

• Connection -- Lists the relationship of the content to the asset (e.g., traditional content, asset content, or flows).Note: You can also generate an asset document in this column by clicking Generate.

• Expiry -- Displays when the related content expires.
