This document provides instructions and details required for using AcceleratorKMS APIs, however there are a few things to keep in mind. APIs are subject to the following parameters:
-
Throttles at the IP address level, as well as across all requests
-
Run time and response size constraints, both within AcceleratorKMS as well as from the external tools sending the request and receiving the response, for example Power BI® and Postman
APIs are also subject to the context of your data and the requests you make. We provide input parameters in this document to help you work successfully within the bounds of the throttles, response times, and response sizes. These input parameters are intended to help you build appropriate strategies to make API requests that work for your unique data needs, the amount of data you have in the application, and the throttles in place. For example, by default, we limit results and have minimum date ranges in place. You're encouraged to use these input parameters to target your data or batch the results based on your needs.
For Power BI® integration, see Appendix A: Using Power BI® with AcceleratorKMS APIs at the end of this guide.
