Jovix Inspections remain behind a feature flag. However, here are the latest updates in this release specific to the inspection process that make it more intuitive and impactful for users. First, backend improvements now allow users to retrieve inspection templates by their ID, ensuring quick access to the exact template they need. This feature streamlines workflows by connecting users directly to predefined templates, laying the groundwork for smoother inspection creation and future template detail displays.
Additionally, users can now retrieve inspections with optional additional data, providing flexibility based on their needs. Whether users require detailed inspection question data or prefer a simplified inspection header view, this functionality ensures they receive the right level of information without unnecessary complexity.
Inspection template creators now have added control over critical outcomes. They can configure specific Boolean answers to automatically fail an inspection, enabling them to flag essential issues that require immediate attention. This ensures that inspections effectively highlight critical conditions, fostering greater accountability and precision in addressing concerns.
Lastly, on the mobile front, a new "Launch" button on the Inspection Template Detail screen simplifies the process of starting (creating) an inspection against a material. Users can confidently create inspection records, even while offline, with requests queued for processing once connectivity resumes. After launching an inspection, users are seamlessly navigated to a detailed inspection screen where they can review header information, including inspection questions, ensuring clarity and focus as they proceed.
