HxGN NetWorks Comms is used for designing and managing a fiber network.  Users can view the fiber network and details about each conductor and device with the Comms | Analyst and Comms | Designer seats. With Comms | Designer, users can also design and maintain that network. Comms | NetViewer and Comms | Field Review seats provide users read-only access to details of the fiber network.

Administrators responsible for managing the HxGN NetWorks Core system for multiple clients use the Comms | Design Assist capabilities. As a Comms administrator, you can:

• Configure fiber material specifications that are selected by Designer users.
• Publish data subsets for disconnected users of Field Review.
• Customize the behavior of Comms.

Because the Comms products are add-ons to HxGN NetWorks Core products, you have access to many other workflows, such as publishing data and setting up persisted deltas. For details, see HxGN NetWorks Core | Admin Help.
